The musician was great - talented and definitely a winner! The magician was amazingly entertaining! How did he get that girl in that box and then sllice her up? We're still puzzled about that... But that little boy stole the show singing "I am a Child of God"!! Whose child was that anyway? You were so fun with him and he was so confident! Brett, Sarah, Jacob and I really had a fun time! I believe Chris and his family were laughing their heads off and Kelly Terry was enjoying it too with her two small boys. Thanks again for inviting us. Good Afternoon Tony, I wanted to tell you that the little 3 year old boy was our son - Jacob Miller who sang "I am a Child of God!" We were sitting in the second to last row with Kelly Terry and her two sons and once you made the announcement whoever could come up to the stage and sing their favorite song he took off running... He was so excited to see the magician and loved the popcorn and soda... You don't have to buy him a DVD. He'd be happy with you coming to visit him and giving him a lollypop. On the donation of dictionaries to the Eagle Crest Primary School a client we received the following email:
I have to tell you the coolest story from my 3rd grader at eagle crest....
Her words:
Two guys came in and they were sooooo nice and one of them was this boys dad and look at this book they gave me and mom guess what the longest word in the world is? (my response-supercalifragilisticexpialidocious) how many letters does that have? (me-26 maybe), NOPE. Here it is (and she thumbs through the ROTARY dictionary and shows me THE LONGEST word I have ever seen (some several thousand characters!!) and is so impressed that this is in HER book and something that I didn’t KNOW! Then she proceeded to show me how to look up a word, the words they looked up in class to “test out how to do it all” and what she thought of the fact that she could now find out what any word meant that people were speaking!! It was GREAT!! She was SO EXCITED (puts all those stupid Barbie doll gifts to shame). If I would’ve known a dictionary would have had such an affect on her I would’ve bought one long ago! Every day she spends several minutes thumbing through it and sharing with me the “hey mom, did you know that jerk is in my dictionary?” revelations! She said Tony was funny and nice and did a great job...GO TONY!!
